CRRN's Youth Fire Intervention Specialist State Certification Class prepares the fire service professional to serve as a Youth Firesetting Interventionist within a Youth Firesetting Intervention program. 

The 2 1/2 day course includes the Colorado State Certification exam, and is based on the first edition of the IFSTA Youth Firesetting Prevention & Intervention textbook and conforms the NFPA 1030 Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Prevention Program Positions. 

The class is held every year in August, and we'll post a registration link in late Spring, 2026.
