What Is CRRN?The Colorado Risk Reduction Network (CRRN), a 501c3 nonprofit organization, whose mission is to foster, encourage, and promote prevention, education, and training in the areas of fire and burn prevention, Community Risk Reduction, and injury prevention, and to support projects that further the quality of life in the State of Colorado. CRRN's Vision is to be a resource for Community Risk Reduction professionals in the Fire Service and allied fields, where they can exchange knowledge, learn skills, and develop abilities to help make all the communities they serve safer places to live, work, and visit. Supported memberships from many different entities throughout Colorado drive CRRN. Our members represent fire and EMS services, hospitals, utility companies, The American Red Cross, etc. All with the same focus on supporting and providing the best CRR to its communities. CRRN offers monthly meetings and CRR topic-focused training to its members. CRRN also hosts state-supported certification classes including Fire Life Safety Educator 1 & 2 as well as Youth Fire Intervention Specialist. The CRRN Conference of the Rockies is a bi-annual conference held on the years between Vision 20/20's Model Performance in Community Risk Reduction Symposium and is affiliated with Vision 20/20. The Conference of the Rockies brings subject matter experts from around the country to share knowledge, teach skills, and exchange best practices with attendees from Colorado and from across the United States. Our conference is a well-known and reputable conference that is sure not to be missed! The 29th Conference of the Rockies will be held in the Spring of 2027. |
